SMART1500LCD line-interactive UPS provides battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise. Eight standard outlets provide PWM sine wave AC output. The large LCD indicates operation details including voltage, runtime, load, battery and operating mode. Internal battery can easily be replaced with Tripp Lite's RBC1500 model replacement battery.

AVR protects your equipment from incremental damage. Corrects brownouts as low as 75V and overvoltages as high as 147V back to nominal 120V power continuously, all while keeping the battery fully charged and ready to take over. UPS system also filters out disruptive electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) that can inflict hardware damage or data loss.
Advanced Communications Ports Allow for Automatic Saves and Shutdowns
RS-232 and USB ports connect to a computer running free downloadable PowerAlert® software to enable safe unattended system shutdown a prolonged outage. Cables are included.

In locations with chronic voltage problems, frequent switching to battery drains reserve power and shortens battery life. This UPS system has a feature called automatic voltage regulation (AVR) that solves the problem. The UPS detects when input voltage is out of bounds and corrects it without using the battery.

Data lines connected to your equipment represent an unlocked 'back door,' allowing surges to enter and damage or destroy sensitive electronic components.
