The DS3231 is a high precision Real Time Clock Module which can maintain hours, minutes and seconds, as well as, day, month and year information.
The module can work on either 3.3 or 5V. You can use a typical C-R-2032 3V b-a-t-t-ery to power this RTC module, kindly note that the b-a-t-teries is not included in this listing!

Can be cascaded with other IIC device, 24C32 addresses can be shorted A0/A1/A2 modify default address is 0x57

Connection schematics ( Wiring with Arduino for example, see attached picture):
SCL → A5
SDA → A4
VCC → 5V
GND → GND
If you use other board with this RTC module, you need check and change their SCL and SDA pins.
Nano: SDA→A4, SCL→A5
MEGA: SDA→20, SCL→21
Leonardo: SDA→20, SCL→21
Note: Working with the RTC requires two important steps:
1, Setting the current time, so that the RTC knows what time it is.
2, Retaining the time, so that the RTC module always gives the correct time, even when it is turned off.
