The buckles, anchored in the frame for optimum stability of the mask and a tension always to be determined by the user, are completely foldable and tilting in all directions. Therefore the possibility of breakage is almost impossible. During freediving and underwater hunting, the mask is one of those airspaces that need to be pressure equalized. Pressure equalizing requires air. Since you don’t have unlimited amounts of air as a freediver/spearfisher, you will want a mask with the smallest possible air volume.
Masks with low internal volumes create less drag and are easier to equalize and clear. They also tend to put the lens closer to your face, leading to a wider field of vision, another important feature.
Its frame of reduced thickness in a single piece, without fences, allows a great lightness (125 g) and a surprising approach of the glass to the eyes with the consequent advantages in terms of visibility and reduction of the internal volume. The mask assembly is radial (non-axial); the frame, divided into two parts that are joined by a clip, surrounds the glass as a clamp. This system improves the sealing of the mask, eliminates any possibility of uncomfortable contact between the frame and the forehead and eliminates any vision of the central area of the frame from the inside.

The Nano is for advanced divers, freediving, and spearfishing lovers, designed to offer an extremely hydrodynamic and compact shape to help divers cut through the water and aid movements in small spaces. To develop the Nano mask, Cressi invented and patented the Integrated Dual Frame Technology System. The IDF Technology consists of the joining of two rigid frames, the first on the rear of the silicone skirt and the second, anterior to the first one, that support the lenses. When the two frames are joined and locked together, the silicone skirt remains locked in the middle to guarantee a perfect seal between the face piece and the lens. This technology produces a drastic reduction in the internal volume, while keeping the lenses close to the eyes to ensure a wide view laterally and in the lower zone. The result is a mask with an extremely hydrodynamic shape and low volume. It is the mask on the market with the lowest internal volume (12.86 in2 | 83 cm2), an ideal requirement for freediving lovers. The completely flexible, virtually indestructible buckle is a Cressi patented sytem (US 8281471 B2). It does not require intentional equalizing. The swiveling buckles feature micrometric regulation. Mask features inclined and inverted tear-drop lenses for improve downward visibility, a Cressi's patented design (US 6272693). An anatomical strap ensure a perfect seal on the head.
