The FRITZ!Box 6850 LTE functions in ten LTE (4G) and three UMTS (3G) bands. Depending on the availability of the radio, it switches flexibly between the LTE and UMTS networks. It also transmits dual WLAN in parallel in the frequency bands 2.4 GHz (WLAN N) and 5 GHz (WLAN AC). In total, data rates of up to 1266 Mbps can be achieved. In combination with a FRITZ!Repeater or FRITZ! Powerline adapter with WLAN function, users benefit from the mesh functionality.
The DECT base of the FRITZ!Box provides up to six cordless phones (e.g. FRITZ!Fon) for maximum telephony enjoyment and supports telephony with the number of your SIM card (VoLTE). Smartphones also become a full-fledged landline/VoIP phone via WLAN and FRITZ! App. Several integrated answering machines, local & online phone books and numerous convenience functions complete the wide range of telephony services.
