Fritz!Powerline 1260E WLAN set turns any socket into a quick and secure gigabit network connection. With gigabit Powerline of up to 1,200 Mbit/s and the latest 2x2 MIMO technology, much more robust connections, larger ranges and higher data throughputs are achieved. In addition, the device duo provides a WLAN AC + N access point with up to 1266 Mbit/s for wireless connection of smartphones, tablets and laptops to the home network. So the set allows broadband applications with the highest demands even at the last angle of home and apartment.
The Fritz!Powerline 1260E WLAN set connects network-compatible devices such as computers, TVs or games consoles reliably even over long distances in the home network via ultra-fast gigabit LAN. With the connection via the power line, long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings are mastered easily. Compared to Powerline adapters of the 500 and 200 Mbps class, FRITZ!Powerline 1260E enables significantly more transmission capacity and more robust connections - with high energy efficiency. Several demanding broadband applications can be used at the same time.
The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E adapter of the set expands the WLAN in the home network with Gigabit speed. The WLAN can be convenient, safe and flexible via Powerline even in rooms with a long distance to the router. The set is prepared for WLAN mesh of an installed FRITZ!Box. With maximum security via WPA2 encryption, easy connection of WLAN devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) as well as data rates of up to 866 MBit/s (WLAN AC) + 400 MBit/s (WLAN N), the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E WLAN set offers plenty of comfort and flexibility for wireless surfing.
The Fritz!Powerline 1260E WLAN set is ideal for broadband intensive network applications, such as transferring HD videos (also in 3D) as well as fast internet access, online gaming, web TV, NAS connection and video on demand. Even long distances between the devices do not affect the quality of transmission. The 2x2 MIMO technology allows up to 60% greater range in the mains by simultaneously using two pairs of wire. Cannot use both pairs of wire at the same time, the automatic selection of the better transforming wire pair (diversity) ensures robust powerline transmission.
Outstanding in Fritz! Powerline products are the individual pre-encryption from the factory, which allows for immediate, safe start-up. As soon as FRITZ!Powerline is plugged into the respective sockets and connected via LAN cable to the FRITZ!Box as well as the devices to be networked, the Powerline network is manufactured with an individual AES 128 bit encryption (Plug & Play). The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E WLAN Set is compatible with current devices of the 1200-, 500- and 200-Mbit/s-class. Updates are easily made via the FRITZ Powerline program or via the FRITZ Box operating surface.
